Solwit went through a time of growth and change in 2023, becoming a part of the ALTEN Group. After almost 12 months of combined efforts, a new challenge lies ahead – strategically and personnel-wise. With the arrival of 2024, we are taking a step towards new possibilities as an ALTEN Competence Centre and with new yet well-known leaders.
This evolution aims to bring more projects and opportunities to Solwit’s teams while maintaining and supporting existing technical teams, capabilities, and processes.
The upcoming chapter in Solwit’s history opens with management changes. Leszek Pankiewicz, who has been at the helm of Solwit for 13 years, will support and develop the Polish branches of the ALTEN Group as Senior Advisor in 2024. His experience and knowledge will be vital to becoming one of the leaders in the Polish technology and innovation outsourcing market. ALTEN in Poland already represents more than 1,300 engineers and technology experts, which is set to increase significantly.
Paweł Zieminski and Piotr Wierski have been entrusted with Solwit management as ALTEN’s Competence Centre. They have worked as Business Unit Managers until now and are well-known to everyone on the team.
Pawel Zieminski will be responsible for software development, while Piotr Wierski will handle testing and embedded systems. Both Paweł Ziemiński and Piotr Wierski are experienced managers with many years of experience at Solwit. They have accompanied us literally from the very beginning.
Solwit is highly recognized in Poland for its teams’ technical expertise and proven track record in delivering top-notch quality technology projects. I keep my fingers crossed and warmly welcome Piotr and Paweł in their newly appointed roles and all their teams at ALTEN Competence Centre. We will work together to enhance the Centre’s capabilities and embrace new opportunities regarding projects and clients, says Axel Girardetti, CEE Director at ALTEN.
