Solwit was founded in 2011, but its founders built their managing experience by leading global and Polish IT companies for almost 25 years. For this reason, we like to say that we are an 9-year-old company with 25 years of experience – we combine the characteristics of young company (such as flexibility, freshness, and creativity) with a maturity and business culture, characterized by large, well-organized, and successful global companies.

A graduate of the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Computer Science at the Gdansk University of Technology. For several years he has been participating in the development of investment projects in the field of R&D of Information Technology, carried out in Poland by the leading, global technology companies.


Vice President

Piotr Pągowski graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology. He has been in IT industry since 1993. He built his professional experience as a high level manager in leading, global technology companies.


Zbigniew Jaś

Chairman of the Supervisory Board

A graduate of the University of Gdansk, Faculty of Law and Administration. Legal counsel since 1988.

A member of supervisory boards in many companies; Vicepresident of the International Court of Arbitration in Gdynia, associated with KIGM (Krajowa Izba Gospodarki Morskiej – Polish Chamber of Maritime Commerce), member of the KIGM bard.

As legal counsel, he participates in numerous investment projects, company transformations, major commercial lawsuits in Poland and abroad. Basing on significant experience, gained, when working in polish and international law firms, he continues specialization process in the EU and international law domains: Commercial Law, Civil Law, IT, International Contracts, International Maritime Traffic as well as operating of Polish and foreign entities.

Sergiusz Gniadecki

President of the Board of Allcon Investment, Gdynia seated. Graduated in Construction Engineering in Gdansk University of Technology (1989).

Founder of a construction company Allcon (1990), then one of three co-owners of Allcon’s group of companies.

President of Gdansk Chamber of Commerce in Years 1993 – 1994 (organizer of the Europartenariat in Gdansk in 1994).

Consultant of many economic projects, among others, as a member of Economic Chambers of Gdansk University of Technology and Pomeranian Science & Technology Park in Gdynia. Active panel participant of many real estate conferences.

Jan Mioduski

Member of the Supervisory Board

Member of the Supervisory Board, President of the Management Board of Techno-Service S.A. based in Gdansk, from the beginning of its existence (1992).

A graduate of the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics at the Gdansk University of Technology (1979).

Academic teacher – Senior Assistant at the ETI GUT faculty (1979-1988).

Founder and creator of the success of Techno-Service SA Group, its largest shareholder (39%).

Business Angel, initiator of many innovation and implementation projects carried out jointly with the Gdansk University of Technology, member of the Economic Convention of the Gdansk University of Technology.

Prof. Dr Mark Harris

Advisory Board Member

Prof. Dr Mark Harris is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in the high-tech industry and in entrepreneurship.

Prof. Harris recently retired from Intel to follow his passion in entrepreneurship and in new venture creation. While at Intel, Prof. Harris built Intel Global Technology Etrepreneurship program together with UC Berkeley California Lester Center for Entrepreneurship. During this period Prof. Harris experienced first hand the difficulties, especiallly in Europe, of building entrepreneurial Eco-Systems. Prof. Harris holds Master Degrees in Computer Science and Economics from Technical University in Munich. He also holds a Professorship as Associated Professor for Technology University in Sofia. He is also an expert for the Executive MBA Program at the Technical University of Munich and is a Senior Fellow at the International Entrepreneurship Academy Intentac. Prof. Harris is also on the executive board of Informatics Europe as well as on advisory boards of collaborating or invested companies.

Prof. Harris received a Doctor honoris causa from the St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia and also received the Blue Ribbon of Sofia – the highest recognition for academic achievement of the University of Sofia award. In 2010 Prof. Harris received a Doctor honoris causa from the University Politehnica of Bucharest.

Dr Jacek Jettmar

Advisory Board Member

Dr Jacek Jettmar is a Chief Consultant and President of Management Board in Centrum Promocji Ltd

– a group of managers and industrial consultants providing consulting services for companies and state agencies in the field of feasibility studies, business plans, strategies for local communities, marketing studies, restructuring of industrial enterprises, privatization of state-owned enterprises, transfer of technology, etc.

In the previous years, while holding a position of Director of Marketing and Director of Development in the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone Ltd. Sopot (PSEZ), Dr Jettmar introduced a number of large and eminent foreign investors into PSEZ and completed a number of development plans for investment territories of the PSEZ. Some completed projects include: design of the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone, numerous audits and restructuring programs for Polish R&D institutes, restructuring and privatization reports for state owned enterprises and for industrial sectors, such as Sectoral Study of Polish Electronic Industry, etc. Under his direct guidance many of consultants have worked out more than 200 consultancy reports for industrial firms: restructuring analyses, development strategies, privatization programs, R&D strategies, etc.

Dr Jettmar holds a Master Degree in Shipbuilding/Naval Architecture from Gdansk University of Technology and PhD degree in Technology. He has also completed a number of enhancing training courses and studies in management, restructuring techniques, transfer of technology and industrial strategies. He was during two terms (2003-2009) the president of the Alumni Association of Gdansk University of Technology. Currently he is a chief consultant of technology transfer conferences organized on GUT each year.

Artur Skrygulec

Artur Skrygulec is a highly qualified senior executive with over 20 years of extensive client facing and front-line experience planning, leading

and delivering business and operational transformation projects for world leading providers in the IT, Telco, M2M and IoT industries. During the progressive career history, he was working for industry leading companies, managing large national and international software integration projects and teams through designing, testing and implementing best practices to deliver Mobile, Cloud, SaaS and PaaS solutions and Services. Artur put his most recent focus on delivering end-to-end IoT/M2M connected applications with practical applications of Big Data Analytics and AI. Mr. Skrygulec has participated in the Engineering – Systems Design Ph.D. Program at University of New Hampshire and holds a MS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire; a MS degree in Telecommunication/Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Management from the Gdansk University of Technology in Poland.

The company goal is development, sales and implementation of ENVIRA – the system for waste stream management. The company employs waste management experts. The president of the board is Wojciech Wasiukiewicz.

SofiaSoft was set up in 2015.

The company sales, implementation and develops SOFIA – the system for field force management. President of the Board: Piotr Pągowski.

Solwena Ltd, the youngest company of Solwit Group, was funded in May 2016.

The company designs, develops and implements innovative solutions for energy system reduction. President of the Board: Edwin Dudziak.
