ZETO Lublin has existed since 1966. One of the first IT companies in Poland, which today serves primarily public administration institutions in the field of creating and maintaining systems for document circulation, purchasing platforms, personal data protection and dedicated software for business customers.

For what project did your company hire Solwit SA, and what were your goals?

We implemented a project to create a purchasing platform with an external partner. Unfortunately, the selected supplier did not meet the expectations – functionalities were delivered with a delay, communication problems grew.

The Solwit company had a team of specialists “on the spot”, which allowed us to accelerate the design work, and thus deliver the product on time. One of the goals of the project was to enable the generation of PDF files with the data obtained after completing the offer form on the purchasing platform.

We also needed to create offer forms with advanced validation, which depends on the mode of the purchasing procedure.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We knew Solwit from previous conversations about other projects. We were aware that Solwit has a team of experienced .NET programmers, and we needed this technology. Additionally, they were available immediately, which was crucial from our point of view.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Before Solwit joined the project, it was carried out by another partner, who did not deliver the results on time. Therefore, we decided to hand over the project to the engineers from Solwit. We provided them with the necessary documentation.

First, Solwit focused on a thorough code analysis and error correction. In the next step, Solwit started working on the construction of offer forms and their validation. The project was completed on time, the code quality complies with the requirements, all functionalities meet the assumed expectations, and the system works properly.

How many people from the vendor’s team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked directly with three backend / full stack developers and one frontend developer. Additionally, on the part of Solwit, a project manager with many years of experience in projects related to public procurement participated in the project.

We consulted every problem with them. They proposed solutions and provided everything we needed.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

In just a few weeks, together with Solwit, we managed to close the project for our client. The delivery was questionable, but thanks to this, we can still provide services to our client from the public administration sector.

Cooperation with the Solwit’s team was smooth. Working meetings were held every day, during which strategic decisions were made, we shared ideas and found solutions to emerging problems.
